Rules, terms and conditions for the Ryobi Knows competition Dec 2016 – Apr 2017.

By participating in this competition, entrants agree to the rules, terms and conditions as set out below.

  1. This competition is limited to residents of South Africa. In addition, the following types of persons shall not be eligible to participate in this competition:
  • Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of Stevens & Co Pty Ltd, Ryobi Africa and NextGen Creative Media (Organiser).
  • Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in the above point.
  • Persons who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Persons under the age of 18 years.
  1. The competition shall commence on 1st December 2016 and run until 1st April 2017.
  2. Winners will be selected through Random Draw, on a monthly basis.
  3. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. Vouchers are not transferrable and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted.
  5. Ryobi Africa reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prize with any other prize of comparable or greater commercial value for whatever reason.
  6. By entering this competition you authorize Ryobi Africa, Stevens & Co Pty Ltd and NextGen Creative Media to share the details of your submission including any imagery, social media profiles and other information related to the competition, on its official Social Media Platforms.
  7. The organisers of the competition reserve the right to cancel or postpone the competition at any time. No participant shall have any recource or any claim against Ryobi Africa, Stevens & Co Pty Ltd or NextGen Creative Media as a result of: (a) any amendment to these terms and conditions; (b) the cancellation, termination, suspension or postponement of the competition; and/or (c) an inability, despite attempts, in line with these terms and conditions, to reach a participant.
